To Slay a Dragon

The challenge was to faithfully restore a much-loved mural that was created for the Georgian courtyard by local Stockton artist Zak Newton, who passed away in 2013, leaving behind a legacy of commemorative murals across the town. In recent years Mr Newton's Saint George mural had fallen into disrepair. As the official restoration artist, It was a pleasure to return the piece to its former glory, seeing it also as an opportunity to better signpost the beautiful courtyard within which the mural is displayed.
