“I thought I would share with you my thoughts on the mural...it is fantastic!”
Our collaboration with the Hampton by Hilton in Stockton-on-Tees began with a shared vision: to create a stunning mural that captures the region's rich industrial history and breathtaking natural landscapes. Drawing inspiration from the hotel's own panoramic vistas—exclusive to its location—we developed a series of sketched concepts. With guidance from General Manager John, we honed the selected sketch and developed it into an eye-catching mural that vividly reflects the unique perspective offered by the hotel. To further enhance the mural, we employed artistic license to seamlessly incorporate the hotel itself into the view.

An Expertly Managed Mural Project
We skillfully managed every aspect of the project, from the initial concept, revisions, and final artwork, through to booking and coordinating with our trusted installation partners. Our seamless coordination ensured a smooth transition from design to reality. The final mural, titled "Stockton-on-Tees: Industrial Heritage Meets Natural Beauty," beautifully showcases the harmony between nature and industry.

The Hampton Hotel not only provides a welcoming space for visitors, but also cultivates an environment that nurtures businesses like ours. As a result, the hotel has become an integral part of the Stockton-on-Tees community, bringing its own unique and inviting atmosphere.
The mural transcends mere visual representation, encapsulating Stockton-on-Tees' resilience and transformation. By delving into the historical and cultural significance of each landmark, we ensured our artwork paid homage to the town's heritage while celebrating its present vibrancy.
Celebrating Teesside's Beauty and Heritage
Our mural features iconic landmarks such as Roseberry Topping, Infinity Bridge, and Newport Bridge, all of which adorn Stockton-on-Tees' stunning skyline. The artwork also showcases the striking facade of the Hampton by Hilton hotel, a landmark in its own right and a true gateway to the town's vibrant culture.
Encouraging Collaboration
Throughout the project, we faced challenges that ultimately enriched our design. We integrated the colour palette with the existing decor and created a more immersive piece that flows around the corner onto a second wall. By actively encouraging input from Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council and our client John, General Manager at the Hampton, we fostered a collaborative atmosphere and a successful outcome.
