Setting the Stage for Senior Voices
In response to the urgent needs of Age UK during the 2024 general election, we swiftly designed a touring, Age UK branded living room set. The set would provide a welcoming space for local MPs to engage with elderly citizens, facilitating meaningful discussions on policy and support. Our design needed to foster a warm, personal environment for crucial conversations about the future of elderly care in the UK, as well as meeting the practical demands of rapid setup and transport.
To complement the backdrop, we devised a pack-down system, complete with supporting props, and collaborated with a skilled prop maker to upholster custom armchairs in a bespoke Age UK logo pattern.
Guided by Age UK's insights, this backdrop included elements such as hobbies, family connections, and general interests, ensuring a broad representation of the elderly populace without resorting to clichés.
