Door Portrait Giveaway - Don't Knock it Till You Try it!
I'm delighted to share three original front door portraits I have created for the winners of a recent giveaway I ran on social media. In the uncertain time of Covid 19, I want to encourage us all to look at our homes with renewed gratitude for the safety and comfort they provide. It was this very sentiment that led to my first ever illustration giveaway!
The prize up for grabs was a bespoke front door illustration of your door. This is a new service I'm offering for the introductory price of £50, but this was a great chance to try the service out for free. I was overwhelmed by the buzz the giveaway generated, with over 100 eager entrants. Turns out giveaways can really open doors for you! It was a pleasure to create these lovely illustrated mementoes for the three giveaway winners…
To make the illustrations extra special, I was sure to include little personal touches, such as showing specific flowers in bloom, or a particular garden ornament. One of the giveaway winners requested for me to include a robin in their illustration, so I drew one delicately alighting on a hanging plant above their door….Adoorable!
